Early Years
AC Milan was founded in 1908 by Italian football club Società Sportiva Calciopoli, created from four clubs: Savelli, Torinese, Volter e Arezzo.
Panini Era
During the 1920s and 1930s, AC Milan was one of the most successful teams in Italy. Under the management of Vittorio Panini, they won several domestic and international titles.
Serie A Domination
AC Milan has won a record 34 Serie A titles, with their last victory in the season 1987-1988. The team was also runner-up twice: once in 1974 and again in 2003.
International Success
Under the management of Marcello Lippi, AC Milan won their first Serie A title since the founding of the competition. The team also reached the final of the UEFA Cup/UEFA Champions League in 2003.
Recent Success
The most recent achievement for AC Milan was winning their first Italian Super Cup title since 1995, with the team beating Juventus in the final match on July 21, 2020.
