Early Life and Education:

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was born on March 27, 1954.

He grew up in a troubled home with an abusive father who beat him during his teenage years

Kennedy attended the St. Joseph's High School in Rockville Center, New York and graduated from Manhattan College. He was awarded two degrees: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Arts in Government.

Political Career:

Kennedy started his career in politics as a legislative assistant to New York State Senator James F. Holland.

He then worked for the New York City Council, and later became a campaign manager for Senator Al Dubois.

In 1985, Kennedy ran against Senator Jesse Bollard for Congress but lost by only one vote. He did win in 1991 as the Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey

Kennedy was a strong advocate for environmental protection, and his organization, Greening America, aimed to reduce carbon emissions in the United States.
